I know Mother's Day 2008 is now a thing of the past, but my friend Carol posted this wonderful entry on her blog asking for photos of mothering, and she inspired me to put together this little collage.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day, complete with waffles, a nap, and handmade cards. I felt pampered on the day and now that it's back to real life, I am still feeling the glow of it. In case it's some kind of unintentional secret, I just want to say that I treasure my family. Aaron is an amazing husband and father, far more generous that I'm sure I even deserve. And my kids... well, all you mothers will know why I'm lost for the words. They're everything.
