I was supposed to have class today (on a Saturday) but woke up to a beautiful snow day! 5-8 inches of snow fell on Durham and the surrounding areas.  Definitely a rare occasion in this part of the country.  Since class was cancelled and I seem to have caught a cold, I hunkered down for the day in my apartment.  I decided to tackle another sewing project and made the bed caddy shown above. I found the tutorial online and thought it was super useful. I'm still learning all about the world of sewing and must admit I got pretty frustrated today.  I put the project down for awhile (took a nap) and then got back to it and finished within a few hours. I wish the fabric matched my bedding a little better, but meh, whatever.

Can't believe this semester is already half way over! The time is flying! I'm looking forward to my upcoming trip to Boston next month and then moving to Arizona in the beginning of March.
